Promise

Its been a while and i have been trying,

I know i had promised, and yes i need to keep them.

Its not that easy, but this is the little can do,

For whatever you have done all through my life.

You gave me all that you had to see me smile,

even when nothing was left for you,

never asked for anything in return, but my Happiness.

I promised you many a times, a lot of things,

and i know i haven't fulfilled, wish i could give you one Smile.

You walked those fields with me, and asked me to fly,

when i asked what about the wings,

you spread your arms around me and

walked with me on your shoulders.

world was so small for me from there,

feels like i could actually fly & touch the sky right there.

Time has gone past and now i cant fly and touch the sky,

The smile on your face has faded, and all i see is worry.

I will keep my promise and will make you happy

I know its been a while, but please forgive me.

Wish

Its been a while, and i don't know where am i ,

feels like everything is changed, not like i dint want to .

The sun is shinning bright and the sea is going high.

The breeze makes me feel that i am back home again.

I don't want to leave you this time,coz its been a while,

and yes i want to be with you right now.

it feels like you had held me all this while,

though i have been miles away from you.

Its the touch of your love that takes me through all this,

and sways away all the pain in me.

you had turned down the storms for me,

you have made me stronger by this day.

i wish i could do something for you.
